Why it matters

Calm teachers make happy campuses

As students and educators come out of the pandemic and lockdowns, there is a shift from gadgets back to in-person classrooms. This brings a new set of challenges, especially emotional and psychological ones. Our programs are designed to help everyone face them with a fresh, stress-free state of mind.

For the past 42 years, the Art of Living has helped educational institutions around the world with these challenges. Its programs combine mind-body and breath practices with interactive discussions and experiential processes. They are proven to improve the overall performance of educators and students by enhancing memory, concentration, productivity, interpersonal skills and the ability to perform under pressure.

Happy campuses are known by the expanse of harmony and sense of belongingness amongst the students, teachers and the administration.

After the five days

Practice that lasts

Revisiting what you've learnt is essential. It helps you see which parts of the program matter most and how to apply them in daily life.

Monthly follow-up sessions

Once a month, trained instructors lead a one-hour follow-up session online or in person, separately for educators and students. Each session refreshes the experience of Sudarshan Kriya© and reinforces what was learnt.

  1. Revision of the principles learnt in the program
  2. Light exercises and yoga
  3. Breathing techniques and Sudarshan Kriya©
  4. A fun activity or game with learning goals

Daily practice

Daily practice is what makes the change last. Educators who complete the program can keep up their own practice every day using the Art of Living app.

They are also trained to supervise their students' 20-minute daily practice in the classroom, with students seated at their benches and nothing else needed. The app can guide this practice too.
